Nepal's Earthquake Relief Fund

Donation protected
As you probably know by now, on 25th April 2015 a 7.8-magnitude earthquake struck the mountain kingdom of Nepal. The United Nations estimates that eight million people in 39 districts have been affected - more than a quarter of population. As of right now more than 5,000 lives have been taken (2015/4/28). Entire families died together, Villages came crumbling down and thousands of people got wounded.

When the earthquake struck Nepal, I was volunteering in a Heart Health Camp in Dhadhing District, providing free checkups and medications to villagers. Although I was with a team of doctors, nurses and other medical personnel we were able to provide only basic medical treatment due to our lack of medicine and equipment needed in this kind of disaster. Our team stayed the night in Dhading doing what we could to help the people living there.

Now I have assembled a small team which is going to be led by Dr. Anil Bhattarai, MD PhD. and Mr. Rabi Rayamajhi, MBA. Together we are going back to Dhading to aid the victims with food, clothes, blankets, tents, cash and medicine. Even the smallest amount will help and can save a life. Thoughts and prayers are welcome, but they don't have the same effect as your aid. I will see that every single dollar goes directly towards helping the severely affected and often neglected rural areas. So please donate.
