Scratching Post Cat Rescue

We started rescuing cats in 2005 out of our home. My husband then built a small building in our back yard. It didn't take us long to out grow it. We then purchased a couple of outside cat runs/cages. We use those for mama cats and their babies. We buy tarps to put over them to protect the kitties from the outside elements. In 2013 my husband purchased a 2 story building that we need to renovate to turn into the Scratching Post Cat Rescue. First we had to clean everything out by renting 2 very large rolloff dumpsters. We then had to get a state design release before we could even work on it. We now are at the point that we need funds to buy the materials to get started on the renovations. We get no funding through our county or city. Everything we have done has been with our income or donations and adoption fees. We get all of our kittens/cats leukemia tested, vaccinated, spayed or neutered and de wormed. We both work full time but as soon as we get the building renovated and open, I will be working at the rescue full time, able to rescue many more cats that is very needed because our county and city do not help rescue cats. Please help us help more kitties! We welcome anyone to come and look at the building and the drawings we had done to get the state design release by appointment.
