Southwest Maker Fest is a collaborative one-day festival and community of makers seeking to achieve the vision of a connected community, empowered by creativity. The Southwest Maker Fest (SWMF) mission is to celebrate, engage, and inspire the maker in each of us.
Southwest Maker Fest 2016 happens on Saturday March 12, noon - 7pm.
With the third annual Southwest Maker Fest almost upon us, the festival is in its early stages. You can help it grow and develop. Your gift will support rental of lights and generators, signage, materials for community activities and fees for featured presenters, among other costs. We are committed to keeping SWMF free to the public, and hope to continue enabling makers who actively engage the public to exhibit at no cost. Help us nurture SWMF into an inspiring regional festival and year-round resource to the creative community.
We are an all-volunteer group operating SWMF under Ultimate Imaginations Inc., the non-profit arm of Downtown Mesa Association. We use all resources very carefully, so a gift of any size will make a difference.
Let's establish Arizona as a place full of creative spirit and enormous talent!
