Quake Nepal 2015

Dear all,

Its been more than a month now since the earthquake hit Nepal. With emergency relief tapering down and making way for long term sustained efforts to re-build the country, many have joined hands to help the effort.

This initiative has helped raise more than $13,000, thanks to all those who contributed in multiple ways. A group of students (from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health)  also came together to raise more than $1600 through a food fest.

All sources will be utilized to re-build schools that were destroyed in the aftermath of the earthquake. Afterall, dhildren are the future and there shouldn't be a halt on their education just because they dont have a school to go to. Some of the donations will also be used for delivery of medical supplies to hospitals in Kathmandu. I will keep you updated  on the expenditures as and when they happen.
