In 2010, the vision for The IBNX Radio Network was given to creator, Tricia Clarke. She embarked on a journey amidst all odds seeking to make her dream of engaging, empowering and entertaining others a reality.
At the onset, being a mother and caretaker of other family members, while unemployed made her dream seem impossible. Although she knew many obstacles stood in her path, she still opted to take a leap of faith and forged forward never doubting the outcome of her journey.
With her vision in mind and passion in her heart, over the next few years Tricia worked diligently, planning and preparing to bring IBNX Radio to life. She studied the industry, traditional and upcoming trends and networked with industry professionals while mapping out her game plan getting ready for full execution. With the aid of her closest family and friends, Tricia managed over the next few years to raise start-up funding in preparation for IBNX’s official launch.
In September 2013, IBNX Radio officially begin broadcasting with one station and in a year has grown to over ten. She begin the journey alone and is now blessed to have over 35 dedicated team members aiding her daily. From genre specific stations to a disc jockey only station and the flagship community station airing hosted talk shows daily – #AtlantaNX –her goal to offer opportunities to talented individuals while engaging, empowering and entertaining a listening audience is no longer a dream – It’s Reality!
Tricia, also known as Ms.Inlynk or DJ No DJ, plays an intricate part of the daily operations. She ensures all aspects of the network remain within the vision which inspired her journey. Her desire to ensure business owners, independent talent and the people behind the scenes get exposure shows in her requirements of her team and how they represent the brand. The network does not charge for music spins nor does it charge for interviews. Yet it is 100% licensed to ensure those due receive their royalties. Her business model is not one motivated by dollars and cents but rather by her desire to have her vision help others visions succeed and her mission to provide new opportunities for local businesses and individuals to gain massive exposure.
As a team, we not only see her vision, we feel it. Tricia ensures the team dynamic at IBNX Radio creates a working environment of peace, love and pure joy. Her desire to serve the community, her commitment and her passion shown keeps her team motivated individually and collectively. Everyone are dedicated team players and it shows with every interaction in the studio and abroad.
Although Tricia has managed to get IBNX this far, the network is currently at a position of growth which is beyond her ability to sustain it without added support. Her sacrifices are still not enough to maintain the demand which is currently placed on her as she strives to continue the growing success of the network.
IBNX Radio, along with the newest addition of the brand - IBNX Media, is in need of your support. #TeamIBNX needs your support! And Tricia needs your support so IBNX can continue to engage, empower and entertain while providing opportunities for and within local communities worldwide.
The funding secured will be used to bring the networks expenses current and allow for the upgrading and purchasing of equipment for the IBNX Studios in Norcross which houses both the radio station and the upcoming IBNX Media studio.
