Srdjan's Prosthetic Leg Fund

Srdjan is an amazing 31 year old young man, living in Split, Croatia. Since the age of 15, Srdjan has been suffering from bone cancer in his leg. During those years, Srdjan endured over 20 difficult surgeries, as well as many exhausting therapies, including 11 cycles of chemotherapy and 30 radiation treatments. Despite all his challenges, Srdjan was able to finish 5 years of University and became a Computer Programmer.

Unfortunately, in the last couple of years, his illness turned for the worse and last week, he had to have his leg amputated right from the hip. Srdjan's family financial situation is not good and they are not able to provide resources for Srdjan's much needed prosthetic leg.

Srdjan is one of the most incredible human beings I have ever met; extremely stoic and very proud. In all these years of suffering, I have never heard one word of complaint. Whenever I would see him, he would greet me with a warm smile. Although, very often it was quite obvious that he was enduring severe pain.

Srdjan would never ask for help, so his family is asking on his behalf. Please help us raise money for Srdjan's prosthetic leg, so he can go back to work and to a normal life.
