SportsMart Baltimore Riot Recovery

UPDATE!

Today I have been contact by Mr. Levy's daughter regarding this fundraiser. She informed me that the owners of SportsMart will take any proceeds collected and place them back into the community. This would help their employees while SportsMart is recovering as well as the construction of the Southern Baptist Church Senior Center which was sadly burned down on Monday night.

This is what a community looks like, even as the dust is still settling in Baltimore! I look forward to meeting the family soon.

After watching a WBAL TV news story in which Lowell Melser interviewed the Owner of SportsMart which is located at 311 N Exeter Street, Baltimore, MD 21202.

I feel that the community should try to raise money to help the family rebound from this unneccesary looting and damage. There are many small, family-owned stores and shops in Baltimore City.

The owner of the store is reporting that the losses are close to 1 million dollars and we can not stand by and allow our local businesses fall. Just donate $1 and share the page to your friend's and family. Let's see just how much the people around Baltimore really do care.
