Soul Camp Girls Program

Help us bring our girls program to Awendaw and Wadmalaw Island.

Soul Camp is an empowerment and Leadership program for tween and teen girls ages 8 to 17. Soul Camp's mission is to encourage excellence by providing unique experiences for girls while teaching valuable life skills.

The program pushes girls to soar to higher heights by offering prominent speakers, field trips to local businesses and organizations, and monthly themes covering academic achievement, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, goal setting, body image, conflict resolution, effective communication and public speaking, cultural awareness, and every day life skills.

We visit companies like Boeing, Cummins, news stations, and MUSC to learn what they do and their career options. We journal each day to record our experiences and our vision of our future. We host executives, political figures, and community leaders as they share their stories of success. We learn by taking workshops facilitated by experienced and credentialed professionals. We change the lives of Lowcountry girls. 

To produce Soul Camp, we need to cover expenses like snacks, transportation, and supplies. It is an expensive undertaking, but we see value in growing strong, informed young leaders. We humbly ask that you consider giving whatever you can to assist us to provide this experience for girls who could not otherwise afford to attend by offering scholarships.  Soul Camp locations are Awendaw and Wadmalaw Island.
