SOL.eats was created out of a health and dietary necessity. Jennifer, SOL.eats Co-Founder,  struggled with a chronic health issue that left her with a very limited list of items to eat. She realized that many people struggled with the same burdens of not knowing how to create delicious meals within their dietary restrictions. Jennifer became determined to help cook for people that were struggling with their health and wanting to eat better, while holding on to hope in that they can live their lives as normal as possible.

Connie, Co-Founder, struggled with her own dietary limitations. She discovered in her adult years that she was lactose  intolerant. This caused Connie to have to create a drastic change in her eating habits. She began to create lactose intolerant friendly variations of some of her favorite foods.  As Jennifer and Connie began to share with each other about their dietary restrictions, they realized that the things Jennifer was able to eat, Connie could not. The things Connie was able to eat, Jennifer could not. As they began to collaborate together, they realized that a perfect partnership had been formed. 

Connie had a background in Business Administration and Culinary Arts, and her personal experience in the culinary field made her an asset to SOL.eats. Jennifer's knowledge regarding the connection between diet and health, mixed with Connie's creative culinary flair, made this team a dynamic duo. 
 
Our heart is to not only to create healthier meals, but also to partner with those who have dietary restrictions. 

Jennifer is currently a personal chef and meal preps for clients daily, but the client interest is constantly expanding. Connie works full time in Santa Monica for a catering company and spends all her extra time focusing on SOL.eats .

With the need for healthier choices rapidly growing, SOL.eats fits right in. What sets SOL.eats apart is the focus on your overall health and not just how you look on the outside. 

In order for SOL.eats to continue meal prepping for clients and meet the Health Departments guidelines, we must work out of a Health Department approved commercialized kitchen. 

After scouting multiple locations in Los Angeles, we came across the perfect location with all the necessities and equipment we needed to help us launch this business in the right direction. SOL.eats was approved to rent the kitchen, but unfortunately were not able to start renting out right away due to current financial lack. 

We are passionate about what we do, and we hope that you will follow behind the vision of SOL.eats. Any amount you donate will go towards SOL.eats kitchen and future food truck! Thank you for partnering with us to create healthier lives!
