Hi, my name is Jennifer Harvey Pacini and my cousin's daughter Allison Kiah Brown, unexpectedly passed on to the comfort of God's embrace, at the very young age of 14, on the morning of Thursday, August 6th.
She was born on July 24, 2001 in Davidson County, NC, and she was a student and athlete at Southern Guilford High School, where she was a straight A student, had a passion for running, basketball, the outdoors, and music.
Most of all, she was a loving daughter, sister, granddaughter and friend to many. She was also a dreamer and a thinker, and her positive impact on others will live on forever in our hearts, minds and souls.
My family has decided to start this fund in order to help establish a memorial for Allison. Anyone that would like to help is welcome to share this link with others and/or make your own contribution to this fund, which will be used to establish a scholarship fund in Allison's name.
The Allison Brown Memorial Scholarship for Female Scholar Athletes will be available to future graduates of Southern Guilford High School, and we're hoping that we can make this fund last as long as possible.
A portion of the fund will also be used towards a nice memorial monument in Allison's name, and possibly towards helping with medical and other expenses.
May God's presence provide a blanket of comfort for all of Allison's loved ones through this difficult journey.
