Skyler Bello, age 3, was at Straberry Reservoir late afternoon on Monday July 13 where a truck hit him causing life threatening injuries.
The driver who hit Skyler was going 25 mph in a 5 mph camp site.
Skyler's father, Kevin was on site. Being trained as a fire fighter and an EMT, was able to help stabilize Skyler until help arrived. Even with an ambulance and Life Flight, it still took almost three hours to arrive at Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City. With massive head trauma, time was of the essence.
At this time it is not determined how much of the costs are going to be covered by insurance, how long there will be medical needs for Skyler, or what out of pocket expenses his parents will be responsible for. This campaign is for short term relief. It will allow his parents to spend more time with him at the hospital.
Please find it in your heart to be generous and help Skyler keep his parents close by as the medical treatments and procedures are still uncertain.
