Fund Vicki & Her Family

On Saturday evening, a freak storm blew in and a freak accident happened to my mother, Vicki. As she was camping, a tree was uprooted by a strong wind and knocked her out from behind. This then knocked her into a hot fire pit. My mom is stable but it's complicated because she needs surgery on her fractured vertebrate, however her sternum is also broken. She has a fractured sinus cavity and 3 broken ribs. She has 3rd degree burns down her right side. She has a wonderful team of doctors at UTMB John Sealy Hospital. We are just waiting for the team to decide how to take care of the many injuries and when she can leave the intensive care unit. We know that this will be a long road to recovery with most of the time being spent in Galveston. Everyone has been so kind, and asking how they can help. Well we figured it out. We will be traveling back and forth for a while until she can be well enough to move to a hospital closer to home. Travel and lodging is expensive in Galveston with it being a tourist destination. We kindly ask you to donate what you can to cover the cost for family to be able to be by her side during this time. We also accept prayers!
