Austria Mission Trip

Dear Friends and Family,
From July 22nd through the August 2nd, I will be on a mission trip with 11 other high school students to Wagrain, Austria with my church, Denton Bible Church. We will team up with Denton Bible long term missionaries, Adam Spencer and Kasey Krominga, and their team of 10-15 student and adult leaders from Austria to run an English Bible camp for Austrian and refugee teenagers. Most refugee teens are from Armenia and Romania. They will call the camp English Teenager Camp (ETC.) At this camp, each student will live in a room with the teens, be their camp counselor for the week, and lead small group Bible studies and discussion. They will also help in the basic running of camp from programs, activities, games, skits, English lessons, etc. This camp gives me the unique opportunity to keep up with the teens when I get home through Facebook and Skype, and to see the body of Christ at work across countries, languages, and cultures as we team up with the Austrian leadership team.
I want to go on this trip because I want to help and comfort people through Christ. Last year during Spring Break, I chose to go to a mission trip to Trinidad with Denton Bible and it was life changing. It was an amazing experience and I grew so close to some of the children we had Bible clubs with, which strengthened my relationship with Christ in indescribable ways. As much as I loved working and building relationships with the kids in Trinidad, I feel that God needs me in Austria. I want to have the opportunity to share the Gospel with those teenagers so that they may want to learn more about Jesus Christ and hopefully have a relationship with Him.
Before I can tell these teenagers about Christ, I need two things. Prayer and financial support. I will have to raise $2600 to go on this trip. Please pray that I am able to find a summer job to help raise the money because I believe it will be an amazing experience to go to another country to help spread the gospel, but this trip will not be possible without financial support. For those of us going to Austria, please pray for safe travels and that we touch the lives of those we meet. Thank you for partnering with me on this spiritual adventure. :)
