We will create an eco-friendly, modern living space + place for visiting artists/gardeners/organizers/friends to mix and share work.
This house was bought as an investment in my community and heritage. In the legendary Detroit neighborhood of the North End, in which both my parents grew up, this house has stood for 100 years.
Most of the rehab will be done in a shared learning Do-It-Together framework by myself with the help of friends, and will be shared via the blog .
This campaign is to raise seed money for the beginning; including clean out, doors, and electrical etc...
