Hello my name is Bev and for five years my passion is being the founder of Celebrate Living History, which is the only journalism program in Australia that is focussed on connecting students with senior citizens.
I have been given the opportunity to represent Australia as a speaker for the Generations United Conference in the US. This event attracts leaders, educators and advocates from around the world. And it is my goal to learn from this experience. To interview and discover successful organisations and individuals around the United States that breaks down stereotypes about age.
My goal is to create a global movement to forget about ages. To have the ability to show we all have an important story to share regardless of how old we are.
Celebrate Living History is a not for profit organisation and I am still building relationships with sponsors, so what I am asking for your spare change, so we can show the world that we Australians do care about our older generations. So please help me to make it possible.
I've rediscovered my love for drawing portraits of people on the road. All that donate towards the Forget About Ages tour will be sketched in amongst unique surroundings in the United States!

New York: Interview with founder Jody Scarauella who hires Nonnas of the World as chefs at his restaurant Enoteca Maria.
North Carolina: Duke University. Invited to learn alongside museum professionals who run programs for visitors with dementia. These special tours offer people who live with memory loss and their families the opportunity to enjoy art in the moment and to engage with the current exhibitions using multiple senses
Milwaukee: I will be representing Australia as a speaker for the Generations United Intergenerational Conference. This event attracts leaders, educators and advocates from around the world.
Atlanta: Storycorps Program at the Atlanta History Centre. Discovering how a major organisation curates stories from the local community on a global scale.
