Help Keep Seldom Seen Mine Alive

HELP! Seldom Seen Tourist Coal Mine is in immediate need of financal help to stay open.  Seldom Seen Tourist Coal Mine, a non-profit 501-C3, is trying to raise funds to convert our battery operated motor to a diesel power motor. We have nowhere to get our batteries serviced anymore & if we don't have a functioning motor, we will no longer be able to give tours of the mine. Our short tourist season brings in enough revenue to pay day-to-day expenses but we never have enough money to make capital improvements. We are asking anyone who feels that keeping our "Coal Heritage Story" alive, by letting people see what it is like to work in a coal mine is a worthwhile endeavor, to please help us keep Seldom Seen Mine open.
