Help Kathy Scoot Past MS

Kathy Olds is a vision of strength and grace.  She is an artist, a caring mother, and a dear, dear friend. Kathy has been living with Multiple Sclerosis for the past two decades. It's a progressive disease with no cure, and even despite severe setbacks like thyroid cancer and failed medications, Kathy remains chipper, kind, and gentle. To know Kathy is to be bathed in exuberance.

Unfortunately, as the MS progresses, so does Kathy's immobility. She has severe pains in her bones, muscles, and nerves, and one of the worst areas where she's affected is her legs. Despite being so vivacious and spirited,  and despite physical therapy, Kathy is having a hard time getting out daily. Simple tasks like going to the grocery store or going up and down stairs are slowly becoming an insurmountable challenge.

Please help us in providing Kathy the best, most mobile scooter that money can buy. We found a model that she loves, but her insurance will not pay for it, and the medical supply place keeps suggesting a wheelchair. Please give whatever you can to help this wonderful soul fight her MS and keep her dignity and mobility.
