Technology Upgrades for SCEIC

Tax deductible
A unique inclusion learning environment, Space Coast Early Intervention Center (SCEIC), is Brevard County's premier non-profit preschool, where children, with and without special needs, can learn and grow together. Our vision of educational inclusion has grown to include the expansion of our program from preschool only, to a school with preschool plus kindergarten, with the goal of expanding the program even further in the near future.

While individual therapy is still a vital part of the day for our special needs children, equally important are the opportunities for social development that occurs with peer interaction. Our students learn realistic and accurate views of individuals with disabilities as they see models of those who succeed despite challenges.

Your generous funds donated here will go towards technology upgrades for our students to use at the school, including a new server and phone system which will allow us to grow more quickly, and support our students, their families, and the community much more efficiently.

What We Do:

SCEIC is a place for development, hope, and inclusion for typically developing or gifted students, as well as those with autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, developmental delays, or other disabilities. Our low student-to-teacher ratios mean more individualized care for every child. Students are supported by our highly trained staff, no matter what their special needs may be. Our goal is to provide an educational environment that will meet all of our students’ tutoring, therapy, and schoolwork needs during the school day, freeing them for quality family time in the evening.

Stories of Impact:

"Our journey at SCEIC has been amazing! Our son, born with Down syndrome, started in Ms. Lisa's toddler class in 2012. I saw dramatic improvements with his social skills and sensory challenges. He is now in Ms. Cheryl's VPK class, learning and playing with his peers.

Last year, we were blessed with a daughter who is currently enrolled in Ms. Lisa's toddler class. We are thrilled to know that she will also be able to experience all that SCEIC has to offer."  - Tiffany M.

“Madden was diagnosed with Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD) when he was one and a half years old. His doctor referred him to SCEIC… He went from banging his head and crying all the time out of frustration of not being able to communicate to knowing over a 100 Sign Language vocabulary!”  - Madden’s Mom

"Carson has shown tremendous cognitive growth. On tests of cognitive skills, he is testing well above his current age. Not only is SCEIC helping Carson gain academic skills, but he is gaining an understanding of qualities and differences that make each person unique."  - Carson's Mom

We have many stories that we could share, which tell of the difference we have made in the lives of our students and their families. What we do is possible because you and others like you have given to us so generously. We appreciate the time you've taken to review this page - Your gift will be gratefully received. Thank you so much!
