The First CD of Scaramuccia will feature new discovered Vivaldi pieces and other world premieres. Help us to make this project happen!!
The aim of the project is to record a CD featuring two new discovered works by Vivaldi. The works have been identified by Javier Lupiáñez in 2014 as part of his Master Studies Thesis for the Royal Conservatory of The Hague and will be recorded in November 2015 in Delft. The recording will also include the most recent discovered Vivaldi sonatas for violin and continuo and one anonymous sonata that could be by Vivaldi. The result of the project will be a CD featuring not only a wonderful, unknown and rarely recorded repertoire by Vivaldi but also the premiere and first world recording (as far as we know) of music by Vivaldi.

The CD will be recorded by the ensemble Scaramuccia , led by the violinist and musicologist Javier Lupiáñez , discoverer of the pieces and critic-acclaimed violinist. The long-term research behind the pieces made by the discoverer himself will give to the performance and to the recording a unique and well-informed background.
The ensemble Scaramuccia was also the first group that performed these two new pieces by Vivaldi in a live concert in the radio program De Musyck Kamer, broadcast in the Dutch radio station Concertzender in 2014.
The project is now in its last stage of organization. Musicians, dates, places, technical and logistical issues have been planned and set as much as possible until this moment. The CD will be produced and worldwide distributed by the international recording label Ayros.
To make this project a reality it is necessary to cover the expenses related to the recording of the CD: the fees of the recording label for the production, editing, printing and distribution, the rent of the place, transportation of the instruments, travel expenses, post-production costs and a very long list of expenses that we cannot afford without your help.
