Please help Hollie !!!

Hollie was dumped at the Manhattan CACC on September 13, 2014. Her owner passed away and now Hollie was left to face the same fate. Amazingly, she survived 10 days at the shelter before coming to ECHO. (East Coast Herding Dog Rescue Organization- 501(c)(3)). She has the typical senior dog health care issues- arthritis, cloudy eyes and severely overweight. However, the most pressing concern is the large mass/lesion that she has on her shoulder. We are working with a vet group that offers rescue a discount and she is scheduled to have surgery for the removal on October 1, 2014. Bloodwork is pretty good for a dog her age. Even though we are not being charged full price, this surgery will drain ECHO's resources, as we are a small, new Rescue group. Hollie has a lot of spunk left, is sweet, gives kisses, wags her nubby tail and likes to wander around in the yard. We'd like to give her a second chance. Please consider donating so we can help this senior gal. Thank you.
