We did it. We opened our new shop!!
We satisfyied many with our yummy, soul satisfying pie and eclectic sense of humor.
Kate's Pie Shop & Record Store specializes in comfort food too. Served within a full service record store, I mean, how cool is that?!?
We are know for our artisan pies that are baked fresh to order and many more are discovering our gourmet pastries, sandwiches and soups.
Our record store is just that. Records only. Cassic rock, punk, indie, vintage country, and just about any other music you can think of. If we don't have it, we can get it. Just for you.
Our passion is music, and we enjoy sharing this with our patrons in our relaxed coffee shop atmosphere. We strive to a space that is bringing back that warm, happy feeling of hanging out at the record store, with the add joy of comfort food. 
We opened our first storefront in the Mendelssohn Performing Arts Center 406 North Main Street in April of 2013. With our music centric shop within the lobby, we were able to reach like minded patrons of the arts. Our shop offered a relaxed, hip space to enjoy pie, coffee, and conversation before during and after shows. In January 2014 we closed our small shop and opened 2nd pop up location in the Riverfront Museum Park 711 North Main Street.
Our store, Our home, opened June 2014. Located at 6685 East State Street, within the beautiful Rockford Public East Branch Library. We have a seating capacity for 45 (standing room up 60) space for our evergrowing records and best of all.. live music once a month. 
Everything is going great. Yet we are left with one last projec that is out of our budget. We are currently trying to raise the funds both here and our other GoFundMe site to erect a street sign along East State Street, one of the busiest streets in Rockford, and right in front of our building. People still don't know where to find us.
