RAISED!!!!

THANK YOU FOR THE SUPPORT! Anything we raise more than the violations and fees will fund future public art projects and help change law regarding public art.

If we don't raise enough money, the Fresh Mural will be painted over. Please help us cover the permitting costs and fines.

This Donation page is the last resort. If we don't raise enough money, the Fresh Mural on Sea Street in Quincy (next to Zamforia and Ginger Betty's Bakery) will be covered up by October 18th. It's up to the citizens of Quincy and lovers of public art to decide if they want to set a standard for urban renewal.

We got permission from the City to paint the mural but only after did we painted it did they tell us to pay for an expensive permit or get rid of it. We don't think that's an ideal decision so we're looking for your support to keep it! We think the City ordinances should support beautification projects like this.

We are looking for your help. This is the first stop to move Quincy in the proper direction.d

IF YOU WANT TO CONTACT THE CITY
1. Call the Mayor's Office or your Ward Councilor. Tell them you think the process of permitting a mural should be improved and that the zoning code should changed to distinguish between an "art display" versus a "political/business sign with logos, etc". Or, of course, tell them anything you'd like.....

Fresh Mural Video:

This was our initial sketch and it was sent to various City officials to notify them of our plans.

This is Kristian, a high school intern that helped design the mural.
