Save Louisville's July 4th Celebration

Donation protected
Due to Louisville, KY budget cuts, our beloved 4th of July celebration is suffering this year and potentially next year. Louisville's Waterfront district has fallen victim to "the slashing of $420,000 in state funding for each of the two upcoming fiscal years", according to an article recently posted in the Courier Journal. This will not only cause the cancellation of Louisville's annual fireworks display, but also put a damper on the 100th birthday of a Louisville treasure; The Belle of Louisville. I am starting this GoFundMe account as a non-profit donation page to help raise money and save this Louisville tradition that is now 15 years strong. I will be contacting local media, as well as reaching out to friends and Louisville natives to share and donate. I am doing this on my own free will and accord. Please show your pride in this beautiful city we all cherish, and donate what you can. 100% of your donation will be given to the city of Louisville in regards to this matter.
Thanks,
Steve Parobek
