Save Gypsy Taco

Hi, my name is Mitchell Ciohon. As some of you may know, I am in the process of opening a new location for my taco trailer "Gypsy Taco" in Milwaukee, Wis. (originally open in Door County, Wis.).

In February 2015, after a lot of shopping around, I decided to hire a company called "USA Concessions" out of Atlanta, GA to design and build a custom trailer as my main taco hub (at my business partner's bar, Boone & Crockett) in Milwaukee, WI.

Everything was going seemingly great with this company. It was relatively new, had good online reviews, and was competitively priced. I agreed to the trailer build and sent the company a down payment to get the build started. The down payment was just under $12,000. A loan company was financing the remaining amount due. I was given a completion date of June 6th, 2015.

During the "build time" I did not get much in the way of updates on the unit. When the completion date rolled around, I was informed that they they were running a few weeks behind on their current builds. I was upset and disappointed, but understood.

As weeks kept rolling by, "USA Concessions" got harder and harder to get a hold of. They were almost entirely unresponsive to my attempts at getting any information about the trailer that I ordered.

In early August 2015 I received some info about USA Concession's owner being arrested for fraud and commercial theft. The loan company I was involved with pulled out of our agreement shortly after. I continued to try and get any information from the company without prevail.

During this time I was sent some information about the owner and his track record of ripping off innocent, unsuspecting consumers for their deposits. He has a documented online record of the terrible things he has done to people, all the while still lying and lying and lying about everything. 

I was left devistated, sad, shocked, and just incredibly upset that there is a person out there that does this to people. I  scraped everything I had together to try to start something good for myself and family, and they just  threw a big ol' wrench in my life and plans....

I am starting this fund to hopefully help try to recoup some of the money from my downpayment, as well the damages incurred since June 6th. It is likely that I will never see the $12,000 I gave that con artist, and, if I do, there is no time frame as to when that will happen.

So, in the wake of this bump in the road, I am asking for your help to get back on track and make some moves to get another food trailer built and up-and-running. I appreciate you taking the time to read my story, as well as the outpooring of support I've received so far.
