On Friday, August 15th 2014, someone came into my apartment unauthorized. Somehow, my precious baby kitty Sassy came out of the deal with a broken left front leg. She is a strictly indoor kitty - but I found her in the carport....4 STORIES BELOW. She had a cast on for a week, but after that 1st week the cast gave her sores on her toes and on her armpit. The hospital removed her cast, gave her the cone of shame and banished her to a kennel for the duration of her healing with 24/7 Buprenorphine (kitty morphine) and neosporine on the sores. Today was a trip to the hospital for a urinary tract infection. This makes visit #11 so far since the 15th of August.
My kids and I just don't understand why someone would do this to our baby. She is a loving and wonderful addition to our family and makes our house a home. She's just over 1 year old and a rescue.
Please, I need help with her unexpected hospital bills.
