Many of the chairs at langosta were damaged and the labrador shares the same chair.
We will be using these funds specifically for our new chairs so you may come and be embraced by all the love...
The salvageable chairs have been donated to the Interfaith project I am working on - KULA CAFE - a non-profit hospitality training cafe in the new Springwood Avenue Center. It will open next month and Andrew Grossman Upholstery has offered to recover the chairs pro bono....
Let the power of giving grow and grow in and around our communities!!!!
I can't express how touching all of your support is. This is a very difficult time for so many. All I want is to get us back up and running so we can begin to help others.
As Buddha says your cup must be full in order for it to runeth over. As soon as our cup refills we will be there to help anyone who needs us.
What I can do now is help anyone get there story out. If you have a business that is getting the shaft by your insurance company or department of labor or mortgage company or state or federal government - Speak up or email me and I will share your message in my efforts for better legislation, regulation and support for small business!!!
My heart is breaking at the generosity of so many of our friends and community.
Thank you all so much for believing in us and helping us get back on our feet. This is what keeps us motivated to try harder to be better people, business owners and compassionate friends...
We are restaurateurs trying to recover from Hurricane Sandy. Unfortunately businesses don't get help from our government and insurance agencies in times of disaster. Our closing of 2 venues has not only put over 75 people out of work but also affected the lives of our vendors and the lives of so many families.
We have applied for anything and everything to help restart our businesses and have been patiently waiting for approvals and responses. We are community leaders and givers and are asking for support in our time of need.
Please help us help others by getting reopened and getting back to work!
