Two funerals - Sandoval Family

On July 24th, the police arrived to my aunt's house and told her that Chris had taken his own life. With barely enough time to even begin processing this news, the family woke the next morning, to the news of the passing of my aunt Carmen.
Chris was only 42 years old and undergoing severe health issues, and a divorce, among many other hardships. Chris was the funniest and most kind hearted person you could ever meet. People would always surround him at parties and family gatherings because they knew that they would hear the hilarious stories that he loved to tell. Watching him play with his daughter Isabella was beautiful. He rarely raised his voice to her and always tried to hold her close, even if she squirmed to get away to play with her cousins. He would watch her play and have a peaceful smile on his face the entire time.
Carmen just celebrated her 77th birthday a few days ago. She loved to dance until many years ago a stroke left her dependent on a caretaker. Despite this she was still always beautiful, stubborn and sweet all at the same time. She recently suffered a heart attack and had to undergo surgery to place a pacemaker.
Due to the fact that both tragedies occurred so close together, the family is now struggling to pay for funeral necessities for both Chris and Carmen. While a fund was started for Carmen, an additional $6,000 is still needed for her burial. Chris’ funeral costs will be between $3,500-$5,000.
It would alleviate some of the stress of many family members if we can get assistance with these expenses. They have a tremendous amount to deal with including raising Chris's only daughter, elderly care expenses for Carmen and many combined medical bills among the two.
