As Christmas approaches, let us reminisce...
As Christmas approaches, let us reminisce on the good times they had in our home. The holidays they spent celebrating in their living room, the good times with families and friends.
We hope you can consider helping this family in these hard times. When doors are being closed to them, despite what Hurricane Sandy has done to them, They know they still have family and friends they can count on.
We hope you all enjoy these holidays.
With Love,
Sanchez Family Hurricane Relief Fund

Daniel, Darlyn & Daphany Sanchez are great leaders of the community. Last year, this family had bought a house in Oakwood Beach Staten Island. During Hurricane Sandy, without warning, the water came and trapped them within their home. They were stuck on their roof for almost eight hours. Thanks to the support of family and friends they were rescued at 130 in the morning. We are glad that they are alive, and It is great to have them around. However, Hurricane Sandy has done much damage to them. They lost two vehicles and their whole house and components within the home were destroyed. Since the water was so high (and it was salt water), they have to throw everything away.
