Running for TNKR
On June 6th I'm running the Han River Seoul Marathon* with the hope of raising $500 USD for the Teach North Korean Refugees (TNKR) project.
In my life I've found running to be an avenue for my own self-development.
The TNKR program provides an opportunity for self-development and education to students who have emerged from challenging situations most of us have only read about.
Though their ordeals have been more challenging, I think the metaphor of running holds some parallels to their situations.
I hope that this modest effort can help the entire TNKR team continue to help others who are so steadfast in developing and improving their own situation.
For those in Korea, I'll accept donations through my Kookmin Bank account and then update this page: Kookmin Bank (KB) 337102-04-115026, account name Sean Junious Massenburg.
*I'll be running the half-course, which 13.1 miles or 21.1 kilometers.
