Help me start my business

After over 20 years of architectural and mechanical drafting experience, and 10 years of 3D modeling experience, I want to start my own prototyping company. When my career as an architectural draftsman came to a halt during the recession a few years ago, I spent a lot of time trying to bounce back while keeping a roof over my kids' head and food in their bellies. I've managed to do that through years of hard work and fortitude, never giving up. I even drove a cab for a few years, just to keep the bills paid. Now I have an opportunity to build something of my very own and put my creativity to work.

Today, the technology and tools required for such a venture have become readily available for the young upstart without the need of hundreds of thousands, or even millions of dollars in investment capital. Using affordable SLA printing technology, I can design and create, modify and perfect working prototypes of just about anything.

But I need help. My credit took a hard hit during the recession, and while I've made a fair amount of progress in climbing out of that hole, it's still not where it needs to be for me to take the traditional routes in starting a business. That's why I've come here, to ask you for help.
