World 24 Hour Championship

For those who don't know me I am an Ultra Runner from New Jersey where I live with my wife and 3 kids. I am 43 years old. I work as a computer systems engineer and I love to spend my time running and being outdoors. I have been endurance running for just over 7 years.

​I have been selected to represent the United States as part of the 2017 U.S. National 24 Hour Ultra Running Team, competing in Belfast, Northern Ireland on July 1-2, 2017. I have worked really hard to get here and I am excited and grateful to have been given the chance, once again, to compete with these world class athletes. Qualifying runners do have some travel expenses covered by USATF. But, at the urging of friends, I have decided to do some fund raising to defray some of the other costs involved: like bringing along my friend and crew chief, Matt Heiblim. Matt has proven himself to a highly capable, resourceful and motivating component of my racing successes, having crewed for me at several of my recent 24 hr. events, including Riverbank where I qualified for team USA.

Those who give $10 or more, to help fund Matt's participation in Belfast, will get a souvenir bracelet with the names of two local running clubs: Marlboro Running Club and Wickatunk Track Club - both of which provide support and comradery for both Matt and myself.
