Since 1986 Stacia has been a warrior as she's been battling ITP, an auto immune disorder that drastically reduces the platelets needed for clotting the blood. She creates and sells amazing works of art to help herself on a few different levels. She single handedly raised two amazing children, both whom graduated high school, as well as worked several years at Walmart while in "remission" but then she relapsed in early 2004 and hasn't been able to work or enjoy life since (except for babysitting her 4 beautiful grandchildren twice a week). Stacia, being under the age of 45 and having gone through many different chemos and other treatments, also already has Fibromyalgia, Heart Disease, High Blood Pressure and degenerative disk disease in her back. As well as depression and panic disorder.
Stacia brings in very little in disability income ($870 to be exact) and due to her son graduating high school she recently lost her child support. I want to help this beautiful, kind hearted woman and good friend to many to have a little less to worry about in life. She's been known to go days without eating, as well as missing treatment because she just doesn't have the fuel to make it across town. She's the first one to help others even though she struggles herself.... This kind of selflessness and love should be more of a thing around the world.
Over the next few years she could possibly lose the ability to walk and/or see. Let's come together as a human race and make someone's life a little more worth living.
