Freelance isn't free

Here's the straight facts--I don't have some brilliant invention or hip business that's going to save the world. 


I'm going on an adventure. A 100 day journey guided by the wind, tides and currents of the Salish Sea. 


For the past nine months, I've been telling other people's stories as a journalist for the local newspaper. It's time to tell my own. 


I've been using a $15 Craigslist bought point and shoot camera to capture the images from my life. I'm a self-taught student of photography and I need you.


With your help I can break into the world of freelance journalism, starting with sail and travel magazines. 


All donations will go toward upgrading to a professional, DSLR camera that will be at my side on all of my travels for years to come.
