SHS 2015 POST GRAD PARTY

The Smithfield High School Parent Council is in the process of conducting its annual appeal to enlist community support for the students of Smithfield High School.  Contributions to the SHS Parent Council will enable us to continue to offer the All Night Post Graduation Party, which will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 for our graduating Seniors.  The purpose of this substance-free event is to ensure a fatality-free evening, by providing an alternative to party hopping, where the use of drugs and alcohol has led to tragedy.

Immediately following the graduation ceremony, students and chaperones will be taken by bus to a sports facility where they will enjoy various activities that include dinner, dancing, games and surprise activities until 5:00am on Wednesday, June 17, 2015.  They will then return to Smithfield High School where they will join their parents for a Sunrise Breakfast.

It is our hope that all seniors can attend this spectacular event free of charge.  Therefore we are appealing to you for your support by asking for a donation to help defray the cost of the event.  It is estimated that it will cost approximately $20,000.00. 

With less than a month until graduation we are well below our goal. Your generous tax-deductible donation will send a strong message to our students that the Smithfield Community Cares.
