Revive the Night Truck!

This past summer we entered into a process to revitalize and improve every aspect of the truck to bring a higher quality of service to our friends, and to be a platform for people to get involved in something great. Besides offering jobs to students, we are striving to offer opportunities for hands-on learning in many areas that relate to the truck's operations, including: management, food sourcing and menu creation, graphic design, marketing and social media, business budgeting & finance, and much more.
Additionally our revitalization is the first step in our mission to host a greater food experience and be home to a larger gathering space around the truck, with lighting seating & more, creating an attractive and welcoming community space.

With some regret we have not been able to be open so far this semester, but there is good reason, and this decision was made in everyone's best interest...

During our planned kitchen renovations, we uncovered problems that lurked beneath the surface. We had anticipated a swift upgrade of appliances and layout, but found things that needed to be addressed first...
Poor quality consutruction allowed water in, causing wood and insulation to fall apart. 

A complete gut of the contents of the truck's metal body was necessary to provide a structurally sound, safe, clean, and efficient workspace for our team and for your food. 
 The truck has received all new walls, insulation, and electrical for our brand new kitchen. We have all appliances ready to be hooked up and some cabinets and counterops on standby.


BUT WE NEED YOUR HELP to complete the renovation! Because of the unexpected work, we now lack the money necessary to build cabinets, shelving, and finish the plumbing and electrical. We also need funds to pay for insurance, licenses, and inspections. Finally we need funds for our food ingredients to bring you a new and improved menu along with your old favorites. 

The faster we receive support from you, the sooner we can return. We need a minimum of $2,500 to be finished and functioning. 
The more support we receive from you, the bigger and better the menu will be when we return.
We have many great new ideas to bring to you including: -More vegan / vegetarian options
-Specialty deserts such as deep fried oreos and funnel cake
- Quality coffee and other hot and cold beverages
- Grab & go snacks (chips, bars, cookies, etc.)
-More deep fried side dishes like various kinds of fries
-AND the great food you already know and love!

Most importantly we strive to bring you an elevated quality of service and an ejoyable food experience within a welcoming social atmosphere around the truck. We have many aspirations that go beyond simply completing our renovations, but this is the first step. With your support the possibilities are limitless. We hope to be able to continue to serve our friends and our community under the stars, night after night, from here on out.
