Impacting,Inspiring & Restoring Lives

Restoration Christian Wellness Center is a place of hope, restoration and transformation. It was established by myself (Shontel Thomas). I am a Licensed Social Worker, Christian Counselor and Certified Life Coach that specializes and is passionate about counseling, coaching, encouraging, inspiring and empowering lives. In the beginning of 2010, I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and was no longer able to work full time. However, I decided not to give up on my passion to empower others. Therefore, in 2010, I launched Impacting Dreams Services where I provided Life Coaching over the phone to women; due to the limited mobility I had from MS at that time. Instead, of seeing this as an obstacle, I decided to see it as an opportunity to do what I love and at the pace I can provide. Therefore, I decided to expand my services to provide Christian Counseling by merging the Life Coaching services of Impacting Dreams Services to fall under the umbrella of Restoration Christian Wellness Center. I took a leap of faith and located an office to rent so that my clients can have a place where their journey to healing can begin.

The overall mission of Restoration Christian Wellness Center is to provide a safe and confidential atmosphere where lives can be transformed, restoration can be experienced and hope renewed. I am dedicated and passionate about helping individuals and families create a more holistic, meaningful and abundant life full of purpose and wholeness. I address the whole person emotionally, psychologically, socially, physically, and spiritually.
Counseling Services within Restoration Christian Wellness Center includes individual Christian Counseling with women, children/adolescents, and family counseling as well as workshops and seminars on various topics. Life Coaching Services within Restoration Christian Wellness Center includes Life Coaching with women and adolescents as well as workshops on various topics. The Coaching sessions are typically conducted via the telephone. However, clients can choose to be seen face to face as well.
Restoration Christian Wellness Center (RCWC) is still in the process of growing. Since, I do not take insurance at this time I set my rates very low to make it affordable for the clients that I see because my heart doesn’t feel comfortable turning anyone away because of finances.

RCWC is currently a very small practice. I need your help to establish Restoration Christian Wellness Center in the Community. My passion and mission is to be able to continue to make an Impact, Inspire and help Restore the lives of women, children/adolescents and families in the community near and far through counseling, coaching, workshops and seminars. I am seeking monetary donations for registering Restoration Christian Wellness Center as an LLC (Limited Liability Company), rent to maintain office space as the private practice continues to grow, marketing, additional clinical license needed to expand services to clients who choose to pay with insurance and etc.
