The Red Card Regiment is an Indianapolis based brass, saxophone, and marching percussion rally band that has partnered with the Brickyard Battalion to support Indy Eleven soccer.
The Red Card Regiment (RCR) has been a fixture at every Indy Eleven home game this season. RCR performs at the tailgate lots, stadium entrances before and after games, and during games from the East side of the grandstand. The band also performs at events outside of game days, bringing their energetic playing style and diverse music selection from game days to marathons, festivals, and even private parties.
The 35+ member volunteer ensemble is comprised of musicians from across the Indianapolis area: from Noblesville to Greenwood, and from Lawrence to Brownsburg. Players have a diverse musical background from former high school or college band members to professional musicians and music educators.
RCR formed in the Spring of 2014 to coincide with the pre-season Indy Eleven games. They started by performing loaned music on borrowed horns and a 30-year-old set of drums. Quickly the band has grown and improved throughout the season and needs to purchase new instruments and additional music to keep their mission of supporting Indy Eleven and the Brickyard Battalion moving forward.
You can help! The Red Card Regiment has setup this crowdfunding campaign to help raise money for the purchase of instruments and music. Donations of any amount are appreciated and 100% of the proceeds will go toward support of the band.
