Some back story...
Friends International is a ministry which seeks to see international students transformed by the good news of Jesus. In the summer of 2012, I went on my first international missions trip, and traveled to Cambridge as a representative of Biola University and the Torrey Honors Institute to minister to international students.
Little did I know that God would use this trip to completely form and transform my vocational calling.
As I met, befriended, and invested in these students from all over the world, God opened my heart towards them in miraculous ways. I had opportunities to tell students from countries such as Germany, Japan, and Saudi Arabia about Jesus, and I never felt more alive or closer to Christ. I flourished that summer, and knew that God would have me return to Cambridge again. And, in fact, I did, in 2013! I had the absolute privilege of leading a team of Torrey students to Cambridge to serve in international student ministry, literally reaching the world for Christ from one convenient (and beautiful!) location.

Did you know...?
Thousands of international students and scholars come to Cambridge each year to either study at Cambridge University or to learn English at one of the many language schools in the city. These individuals are naturally curious about different cultures and beliefs, and as a result, are often very interested to learn about Christianity. Just think, if they become Christians, these students and scholars can return to their home country and be an ambassador for Christ within their own spheres of influence!

What will I be doing in Cambridge?
As a Reach volunteer, I will lead cafes put on by the ministry, offer tutoring for those who want to improve their English, and even help teach a course for international students to take in order to learn more about Christianity.
Raising Support
It is my privilege and responsibility to raise all of my personal and operational support for my year in Cambridge. I would be honored to have you consider joining either my monthly or launching team. As a monthly partner, you would have the opportunity to give towards my "on the field" ministry; as a member of my launching team, you would be integral in getting me to England (covering travel costs, visa fees, etc.) through a one-time gift.
