Reaching Hearts Food Pantry

Davenport is a small town just west of Disney World in Central Florida that was established in 1915. The sad truth of Davenport’s proximity to the bustling multi-billion dollar theme park is that a good majority of Davenport’s population is very poor and way under the National poverty level. While just a few miles separates the two locations, and families from all over the world that are blessed enough to be able to travel to Disney and create the memories of a lifetime, the people of Davenport are poor. The most heartbreaking fact is that many of the children of Davenport are poor as well and because of the level of poverty many of them are hungry.

Surrender40 Ministries, is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization that has fed over 8,200 meals to the poor and needy of both Miami-Dade and Polk County, Florida. We are asking you to help us address the fact that there is NO place in Davenport for poor people to be fed by creating a place where ALL can come to be fed and cared for, and it would be called:

“REACHING HEARTS FOOD PANTRY ”  

Our ministry founder Trachena will continue to dedicate her life full time to acquiring the necessary food to be able to provide for poor people throughout Davenport and the surrounding area. We are hoping to raise with your help $100,000 to start this food pantry. Please know that EVERY dollar that you give will provide the ability to bless someone with life giving food and water.
