Garrard Park Baseball

Garrard Park, the park where thousands of youth in Paris, Ky have played baseball for years was recently destroyed by a flood. The park sustained major damage to 4 out of 5 fields. The fields are currently unplayable and the season was to begin May 1.   The money will be spent to replace the backstops with screens that can be taken down if a flood threatens the park again. Funds
will also be spent to put in fences around the fields and replace dugouts that were washed away in the flood as well as purchase equipment to be used on the fields. Over 400 youth in Paris have signed up to play baseball for the Summer of 2015. Help get Garrard Park back in playing condition for the youth of Paris KY! (It is simply not an option to play the season elsewhere this season.  All other parks/fields are booked. If there is going to be a youth baseball season, it is going to be at Garrard Park.)
