My family and I are facing one of the saddest and most horrible times in our lives; as tragedy has struck home and the most inner parts of our hearts. My father, Ramon Lluberes, is currently hospitalized in the Intensive Care Unit of Centro Medico Dominicano, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He suffered a severe cerebral cranial trauma when he was struck on the left side of his head with a wooden plank by a former church employee, where he volunteered.
We don’t have the money to transport him to the USA in order to receive the appropriate treatment and care he needs. We are asking for 80K to transport him via Air Ambulance to New York where he is medically insured and can receive guaranteed medical treatment for this type of trauma. The remaining funds will go towards covering the medical bills as he is not insured in Dominican republic.
Slowly he’s been able to awake from his state of coma, but he still has a long way to go. Unfortunately, in order for him to recover, he needs to be flown to the United States urgently by recommendation of his neurosurgeon. My father requires intensive specialized neurological, respiratory, and neuro muscular rehabilitation; since in the Dominican Republic this type of treatment is not available.
I know that if this would’ve happened to me my dad would do everything in his power to help me get the treatment I needed. I cannot do this alone, please help me help my dad.

Mi familia y yo estamos enfrentando unos de los momentos más difíciles de nuestras vidas, ya que una tragedia ha afectado nuestra casa y las fibras mas profundas de nuestros corazones. Mi padre, Ramón Lluberes, se encuentra ingresado en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivo del Centro Medico Dominicano en Santo Domingo, Rep. Dom. Él fue golpeado con una tabla de madera en la cabeza dentro de la iglesia por un empleado que fue previamente despedido y sufrió un Trauma Cráneo Cerebral Severo.
Lamentablemente su traslado y cuidado tiene un alto costo y no contamos con el dinero para poder solventar los gastos. Necesitamos $80,00.00 USD para cubrir los gastos del transporte por ambulancia aérea a Nueva York y para cubrir los gastos adquiridos en la clínica en Rep. Dom. Afortunadamente, mi padre tiene seguro médico en los Estados Unidos y podrá recibir el cuidado médico necesario.
Lentamente, él se está despertando del coma, pero el camino de recuperacion que le resta es bastante largo. Su neurócirujano ha recomendado trasladarlo a Nueva York urgentemente pare recibir rehabilitacion intensiva Neurológica, Respiratoria y Neuro-Muscular, ya que en la Rep. Dom. este tipo de cuidado no esta disponible para él.
Si me hubiese pasado a mi, se que mi padre haría todo lo posible por ayudarme a recibir todo el tratamiento necesario. No lo puedo hacer sola y mi familia tampoco, por favor ayúdenme para que yo pueda ayudar a mi padre.
