Community Gardens in West Texas

Five years ago, a small, local non-profit organization called the In Harmony Community Club (IHCC) started something in Snyder, TX that had never been done before - an ALL-ORGANIC community garden.
This garden has truly been a labor of love for all involved. We've seen volunteers thrive on their committment to service and even donated fresh organic produce to our local food bank. Despite challenging soil conditions, we've planted tomatoes, bell peppers, jalepeno peppers, amaranth, okra, kale, corn and even beautifully tall sunflowers - all using strictly organic seeds and supplies and simple grassroots know-how.
Now it's time to take it up one notch further and beyond, but we'll need your support to make it happen!
If you'd like to be a part of this exciting new endeavor - the first ever in west Texas, please do so TODAY with a contribution to our fundraiser. Your contributions will also help support our community development efforts - community events and programming like the Deep Creek Anti-Bullying Campaign (DCAB) - a public awareness campaign to combat the detrimental effects of bullying in the area.
In the coming years, we hope to expand into even bigger and better community development projects including a second garden (with much better soil and a water well, yay!) for even bigger yields, as well as community-focused educational programs and building projects.
