Horses Injured by Pot Farms Help
My name is Mary Quinn we operate All Aboard Animal Search and Rescue. We have had rescue horses for 22 years . I have been the creator of happy endings in Sonoma County for animals for 18 years. Dogs, Cats, Horses, livestock.
These are our rescue horses they used to live on 10 acres with a great barn and 10 plush green acres to graze on. That is until 2 Pot Farms moved in on the other side of the fence. then came cutting of fencing. injuries to horses and fences cut to the ground, and a horse almost got out into the road. Then we built in one weekend a 1/8 of acre to keep them safe at night.
The Grower promised they would pay and provide for the fencing to go around there barn so they could have that at least .. breaks in's still continue. They broke there promise after a year of waiting and hired high profile attorney's with there cash crops to fight what was promised. We need emergency fencing and shelter to move them out to another place . We are under fire constantly from people trying to break in to get to growers.
Please help by donating to moving transporting of 4 horses and 2 burro's; one from the BLM mangement gotten years ago to protect the horses but he cannot protect them from criminals. Horses have had been injured far to much . We are relocating them to safety. $10,000 in fencing and $8,000 transport costs and a shelter . These horses came from horrid abuse they have been happy horses until 4 years ago. Please help me bring them peace . One horse was a race horse Lily almost 30 years old . must have been a great race horse they raced her she went into a colic they got her surgery and back out on the track. Ritz ex dressage horse abandoned in a boarding facility and they refused to feed him. He and lily came to me severely emaciated. Annabelle came with a giant hole in her neck from someone bad training. You could not touch her for 5 years. She is the herd leader. Then there is Sidney. she is the baby.. Bob Garica from Animal Care and Control came to us 22 years ago and asked us to help her. It is a long story but with many health issues she was not adoptable. We have given our word to Mr Garica we would take care of her for life.
No amount is to small please share and help me get them to safety.
