Help Daniel get new Hearing Aids!

My name is Forest Machala and I have a friend in Ecuador named Daniel Carrasco. Daniel is hard-of-hearing and uses hearing aids to do well in school and in life in general. In November, Daniel was attacked while on his way home and his hearing aids were stolen.
Daniel's family simply does not have enough money to cover the 4,500 price tag for new hearing aids for Daniel. Unlike in the United States, Ecuador doesn't have any social programs that subsidize the cost of hearing aids. Daniel and his family has reached out to friends and families and there is are not enough people with enough money to cover the cost.
What more is that Daniel is due to start university in a couple of week and without hearing aids he will have a very hard time hearing his teachers as well as his friends.
I want to help a very close friend that I met through Scouting. From one scout to another, we have helped each other from time to time over the years. I'm hoping to meet this goal of $4,500 in one Month!
Daniel would like to thank you for taking the time to donate a little to help a lot. I would like to thank you too as I'm hard-of-hearing too and I've been very fortunate to have programs here in the United States to help me replace two pairs of hearing aids I have had stolen from me over the years. I only wished Daniel had the same kind of help.
