USAFA 4K4<3 (Four K for Love)
In conjunction with the Air Force Assistance Fund (AFAF) Annual Campaign 2015, the Group Four Staff are coordinating a color run for Saturday, May 2 . The run will be held alongside the Falcon 50 and will be open to all cadets, families, other active duty and CAC holders. The funds raised at the run will help support the Air Force Assistance Fund. During the AFAF campaign, cadets cannot raise money for any other event, so they have worked hard to source equipment and supplies they can borrow to put on this event, but...
WE NEED YOUR HELP!
The cadets still need hundreds of pounds of non-toxic, biodegradable, colored chalk . As a parent of a cadet and a USAFA Parents Club Vice President, I agreed to help raise funds to purchase the chalk. I found a company that makes the specialty chalk right here in the USA and is a great supporter of our military. They have offered a generous discount -- our goal of $1000 will completely cover the cost of this chalk and the shipping. Any funds raised over that amount will be used to print banners and advertising materials to promote the run. All excess funds raised through this GoFundMe campaign will be used by USAFA Personal Ethics & Education Representatives (PEERs) to purchase material in support of sexual assault awareness.
If we can reach the $1000 goal by April 20th, we'll be able to provide all the chalk the cadets will need to hold the run, and all cadets will be able to participate FOR FREE!
