Almost seven years ago, Megan and I started our lives together under somewhat uncertain circumstances. I was just wrapping up school, she was still in the midst of it. She was living in Harrisburg, while I had plans to move to New York City. We were both entirely consumed by what our own futures would come to be, and were very much still finding ourselves.
However, despite our early-on growing pains, we always found time to love each other. As the physical distance between us shrunk and our love grew, we knew one day we'd be right where we are now - planning our wedding with our friends and family, and preparing to spend the rest of our lives together. There is no doubt that we would not be where we are today without the support of our friends and family. You've all been a critical part of our journey, and have shown us nothing but good times and friendship along the way.
That being said, as our wedding gets closer, we're also looking ahead to our honeymoon to get some rest & relaxation. For those of you who may not know, Megan and I have chosen to spend the week(s) following the wedding in London, England. Having spent some time living in London, and anxious to share with her one of my favorite places in the world, I was thrilled when Megan said that this was where she wanted to go. At the same time, we knew that this trip would not be cheap, and we would probably need some help.
Enter YOU.
In seven years, we've collected and found homes for lots of "stuff" - great stuff, mind you, but still, stuff. We've got what we need for the house, the kitchen, the bathroom, etc. What we really need is a vacation. So we're reaching out to you, our friends and family, to send us off on a "trip-of-a-lifetime". Having you in our lives to this point has been a gift unto itself, so if we've failed to let you know recently, thank you for being a part of it.
We can't wait to celebrate with all of you in the coming months; again, thank you for being there for us along the way, and we are sincerely grateful for whatever you are able to help us out with. We hope to see you all very soon.
