8Skydive for World Challenge India

Hello, 8 Louth Lincolnshire school children are trying to raise the final money to fund our World Challenge India Kochi 2015. We have done various fund raising activities & will be doing a skydive on the 26th Of April. 
This challenge will help us for my future careers. 
On the Challenge we will have to Trek the Munner Trail & climb mountains higher than Mount Snowden. Once we have reached the village we will have to carry out some tasks of projects in the community which includes teaching the children there. We will explore local development challenges, by participating in a local project that is aimed at meeting an important community need.  For example, how does a toilet improve girl’s participation in school, why is a concrete floor critical to health, why is tree planting fence building so important to the local economy and why are children living in orphanages?  
Our team’s financial contribution and un-skilled labour efforts will be appreciated by the community, but at the heart of the experience is the chance to learn new skills, share an experience and make new friends. We may be part of a long term project or be part of rejuvenating a community but either way, the work will continue long after we have returned home.
