Jason's Education
Donation protected
Hi family, old friends, new friends, and supporters,
We have started this Go Fund Me for someone dear to us. He is working towards a more positive future, but like many of us, he needs a little help.
Jason was incarcerated 3 months after his 18th birthday and subsequently sentenced to life without parole. As anyone can imagine, life has not been easy for him over the last 20 years. Prison is a life of its own and when you have life with out parole, you tend to give up hope on a better future. Jason not only has hope, but has decided to take a number of classes beyond his chosen major to make himself a more well rounded man. He is putting his innate intelligence to good use.
Now, at 38, Jason has chosen to change his outlook on life and would like to go to school to better himself, which would also allow him the tools to help other youth offenders. His goal is to pursue a double major in Sociology and Business. While doing this, he would also like to get a paralegal certificate. Jason has already begun outreach with students in a Life Skills high school class. He doesn’t want his life and lessons to be in vain.
We have had the pleasure of seeing the change in Jason, and we know that he is capable of accomplishing his goals.
Jason has a large circle of devoted family and friends who continue to enthusiastically support him. However, twenty years of support can deplete financial help.
His school tuition is paid for, but books are an expense he is responsible for alone. We are reaching out to ask for help in earning money for his school books and paralegal certificate.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Please spread the word. Any extra funds will go toward Micah's education as he is a full time student now too!
Thank you so much for your help and concern.
Warmly,
Melissa, Sharry, and Nicole
