Qatar Animal Welfare Society

Qatar Animal Welfare Society (QAWS) is an animal rescue organisation in the State of Qatar dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming animals in need.

QAWS has over 250 animals housed at the shelter, is totally run by volunteers and is completely funded by public donations. Please give generously towards shelter rent, running costs and medical bills - every little helps!

Predominantly caring for dogs and cats, QAWS also helps livestock and wildlife in need too and is home to donkeys, a cow, ducks, chickens and lots more!

This is Lenny who was abandoned at the side of the road, emaciated, covered in scars and with a torn achilles tendon. Having suffered years of abuse, it's taken 6 months and thousands of Riyals of treatment and surgeries to get Lenny fit and healthy again.
