Pitbull Mix Recovery Fund

Donation protected
On March 24th, 2015 around 8:45PM near the intersection of Tibbs Avenue and 16th Street in Indianapolis, Indiana, a young black and white Pitbull mix tried to cross the road. All of traffic stopped except for one car. The Pitbull mix was hit and dragged under the car. Luckily, the car stopped and the Pitbull mix was able to run back across the road into a neighborhood.

After witnessing this, I pulled into the neighborhood and got out of my car. I found the Pitbull mix in a yard lying down. He was bleeding severly from his right hind leg. I sat next to him, let him sniff me and pet him between his ears. He allowed me to put him in my car. I called several Emergency Vet clinics, but only Companion Animal Hopsital thirty minutes north in Carmel was willing to help.

We drove the Pitbull mix up to Companion Animal Hospital at 10:30PM where he received and is currently receiving medical treatment. Unfortunately, due to his injuries, the young pup will need to have the back leg amputated. This procedure will cost around $5,000 so we will need charitable donations to save his pup's life.

This Pitbull mix is a very sweet, young dog that needs a second chance and good, loving home. If you can, please donate to his recovery fund. If you are interesting in adopting him, please contact Companion Animal Hospital in Carmel, Indiana.

Thank you for your help!
